All items from Hemingway’s Workshop are handcrafted in the USA, right here in Michigan. We take pride in small-batch production and hands-on craftsmanship.

We work primarily with solid woods such as cedar, poplar, pine, walnut, maple, and bamboo plywood, along with acrylic and LED components where designs call for illumination. Each material is chosen for durability, beauty, and purpose.

Yes. Every product is designed, cut, assembled, and finished by hand in our workshop. Because of this, natural variations in wood grain and color are normal and part of what makes each piece unique.

Yes. Our LED products use low-voltage, energy-efficient LEDs that stay cool to the touch and are safe for everyday use when used as directed.

Some products are suitable for covered outdoor use, especially cedar items. However, most products are best kept indoors or in protected areas to extend their lifespan. Always check individual product descriptions for care recommendations.

• Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth

• Do not soak or submerge in water

• For cutting boards, re-oil periodically with food-safe mineral oil

Because many items are handmade or made-to-order, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us within a few days of delivery and we’ll make it right.
